Case Study: Rockett Studio.

Website redesign and digital marketing for Rockett Studio.

About Rockett

Rockett is an award-winning interior design studio specialising in restaurant, hospitality and luxury residential projects across the globe. After 14 successful years in Singapore, Rockett have opened a regional office in Guernsey UK. While their Asian hub is busy with projects in Singapore, Bangkok, Kaula Lumpur, Doha, and Melbourne, the new studio is busy with projects in London, Bordeaux and Verbier.

The Brief

Collaborating with Rockett's Founder & Creative Director, Geila Daughtrey, the task was to honour the studio's ethos and brand language while infusing the site with a renewed appearance and distinct identity. Our shared vision aimed to present projects and service offerings in a straightforward manner, catering to both B2B visitors exploring commercial projects and private residential clients seeking an interior designer for their homes.

The Process

Rockett is a boutique studio at heart, and proudly so. Their ethos centres on a close-knit, approachable team spirit. Geila Daughtrey painstakingly manages every project with no stone left unturned, resulting in timeless, concept-led interior schemes.

A portfolio of beautiful interior photography is always a great starting point to the website design. Curating images, working on project narratives and understanding the bones of each scheme is always a part of the process I find particularly satisfying – there is no better way to delve into a studio’s culture than through the design stories they have already told.

As part of the general brainstorming and experimentation, it was when we came up with a new colour palette for the website that we saw a clear shift from its previous digital incarnation. Thereafter, the challenge is to balance the website aesthetic with the user experience, brand messaging and digital content strategy.

We not only revealed an updated portfolio and services section but also launched Rockett's newest company blog, aptly named 'Notebook' to pay tribute to Geila's fondness for collecting Moleskine notebooks.

Over the course of her career, Geila has gained an impressive body of work including InterContinental Hotels, Accor Hotels, BMW, Rolls Royce, Gordon Ramsay, Burger & Lobster, PizzaExpress, the private concierge service Quintessentially, and most recently, 67 Pall Mall Private Members’ Club in Singapore. Her 'Notebook' blog now brings Rockett's news and creative thinking to digital form.

Now live, Rockett Studio's new website is a reflection of the authenticity, dedication and undeniable talent of Geila and her team.
